Scholarships

The American Aberdeen Association Scholarship Fund was established to help support qualifying AJAA members in pursuit of their college education.

The American Aberdeen Association Junior Committee will award scholarships annually to members of the association. For the year 2023, winners will be announced at the Junior National Show.

Eligibility:
The applicant must be a member in good standing of the American Junior Aberdeen Association (AJAA); and have been a member of the AJAA for at least one full year. Scholarship funds are to be used for furthering the recipient’s education in the field of their choice. Applicants must be at least a high school senior, as funds are for post-secondary education. Junior members may reapply after receiving a scholarship.

Selection:
The scholarship committee will evaluate all applicants and make their decision based on the merits of the application. Selection will be based on: academic record, activities and Aberdeen cattle involvement.

Completed applications must be accompanied by a current transcript and picture of the applicant. Deadline for submission of all applications is
May 1, 2023.
