Lease Agreement

If a breeder uses another breeder’s bull for an entire breeding season, the bull owner should fill out a lease form to the breeder that used the bull. This does not change the legitimate ownership of said bull but allows the person who leased the bull to register calves that resulted from those breeding dates anytime in the future without getting a Natural Service Breeding Statement for every cow.

If the producer does not fill out the lease form, then anytime in the future when a resulting calf needs to be registered, a Natural Service Breeding Statement will be required.
The Lease form mitigates a great deal of hassle for multiple registrations for both the bull owner and the breeder needing to register resulting calves.
