Conor Summers, Director

My name is Connor Somers from Lindsay, Oklahoma. I have a passion for agriculture and the livestock industry. One of my favorite things is working with Aberdeen cattle. I have shown Aberdeen cattle for the past five years and am working toward building a herd of my own. I also work for a local farmer, where I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience and learned the importance of responsibility, hard work, and dedication.

Through showing Aberdeen cattle, I’ve developed confidence and a strong appreciation for caring for animals and representing the agriculture community. I hope that, as a member of the Junior Board, I can help grow the Aberdeen breed by encouraging new families and young exhibitors to get involved. I want to promote the many advantages of Aberdeen cattle, support junior members at shows and events, and help create opportunities that make the association stronger for future generations. I believe the future of the breed depends on active, passionate young people, and I would be honored to be part of that effort.

Along with my agricultural interests, I work hard to excel academically and always strive to do my best in the classroom. I’m proud to balance my education with my passion for cattle and farming.
