The AAJA Scholarship Fund is being established to help support qualifying American Aberdeen Junior Association members in their college education.

The American Aberdeen Junior Association will award a scholarship annually to a member of the American Aberdeen Junior Association. The winner will be announced during the National Western Stock Show Annual Banquet in January.
The applicant must be a member in good standing of the American Aberdeen Junior Association (AAJA); and have been a member of the AAJA for at least one full year. Scholarship funds are to be used for furthering the recipient’s education in the field of their choice. Applicants must be at least a high school senior, as funds are for post-secondary education.
$5,000 a year will be distributed to the scholarship candidates by the discretion of the scholarship committee. Juniors may reapply after receiving a scholarship.
The scholarship committee will evaluate all applicants and make their decision based on the merits of the application. Selection will be based on: academic record, activities and American Aberdeen cattle involvement.
The Foundation scholarship application can be found on the upper right side of this page. The completed application must be accompanied by a current transcript and picture. Deadline for submission of all information is Dec. 15, 2016.
